About

WMF is a 501(c)(3)not-for-profit, that provides funding and support to charitable organizations and programs. We support organizations that serve individuals and families in need of assistance as a result of economic challenges and, in many cases, extreme poverty. Emphasis is on programs in education, literacy and the arts. Priority is given to existing non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) in the developing world, social service agencies in the United States and direct scholarships to students in developing nations.

WMF is currently providing major support for the Junior Art Club in Accra, Ghana and has provided grants to Project Espwa in La Caye, Haiti; the YMCA of Haiti in Port-au-Prince; the Senegal YMCA in Dakar; Magicians without Borders in Lincoln, Vermont; Do Something, Inc. in New York City; the Jerusalem YMCA in Israel and Adddison County Readers, Inc. and Imagination Library in Addison County, Vermont.

We are currently supporting 11 scholarship students in Senegal, Ghana and Haiti. Grant and scholarship applications consistent with our mission as related here are cheerfully reviewed.

    Fellow WMF Scholars
A little more persistence, a little more effort and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.
